The mortgage portfolio is secured by commercial real estate diversified across Canada and by property type, enhancing security of both cash flow and capital. 

Conservative underwriting practices are strictly adhered to on both the underlying assets as well as the borrowers.  The portfolio is comprised of commercial mortgage investments ranging up to $10 million with terms up to 10 years.
